Middle School Wrestling 03-05 vs Stanwood/Port Susan/Concrete/Darrington/Lakewood

Confusion was the word of the day at the beginning of last Thursday’s middle school wrestling match. The match was scheduled for a double dual with OHMS and NWMS up against Stanwood and Port Susan Middle Schools. However, for some reason, Lakewood, Concrete and Darrington also showed up. In the end, it was decided for Stanwood and Pt. Susan to combine into one team, and for Lakewood, Concrete and Darrington to form the 2nd team. OHMS went first against this team while NWMS faced the combined Stanwood teams, then switched opponents.

The first OHMS meet had only 11 matches, with Brody Dedobbalaere wrestling twice. The Panthers were able to win more than half the matches, most by pin. Dakota Sinchak was on the mat for the first time after an injury and did well, earning a tech fall.
