Received the following about Monday's game from Coach Day.
"The Wildcat C-team lost a close one against Bellingham Monday night. After spotting Bellingham an 8-2 lead, the Wildcats put up 5 runs in the bottom of the 6th with all nine batters coming to the plate. However, they left two runners in scoring position in the 6th and one more in the 7th and fell to the Red Raiders 8-7. Peter Franssen was 1 for 3 scoring twice and stealing 3 bases. A defensive highlight came when Mitch Mertins, Josh Ekberg, and Zach Zimmer turned the first, traditional 6-4-3 double play of the season. Behind the plate, Ben Miller threw out two runners when they tried to steal 3rd base."
