On April 13th, the JV golf team had their first match at the Whidbey Golf & Country Club against Snohomish and Everett. Girls golf uses a point system rather than stroke count, so the higher the score the better.
The top Wildcat golfer on Monday was Sasha Olson who garnered 30 points – enough for a 1st place finish. Mara Cortez scored 23 to earn 3rd place. Jamie Rancourt had 20, Millie Goebel 17 and Shari Paiz 13. As a team, the girls earned 103 points to win the match, 9 points ahead of 2nd place Snohomish.
The girls played again on Wednesday, but results aren't available.
Photos from the matches are posted HERE.
