The Wildcat track team had another successful day at Marysville-Pilchuck HS on Thursday afternoon. There was some early rain, but the sun was out for most of the meet.

Junior Shantae Young was a triple winner, placing first in the 100m dash, long jump and triple jump (PR). She also anchored the 4x100m relay, nearly catching the leader near the finish line. In field events, Wildcat women won 5 of the events that were entered. Amanda Alvarado won the shot put, Dominique Jackson the discus (new PR), Janelle Yoshimoto the javelin (new PR) in addition to Young’s two wins.
