Golf update 2015-04-27

Boys - Again placed 2nd to Stanwood in a wind-shortened 9-hole match at Whidbey Golf Course last Tuesday.  Steven Timm tied for Medalist, shooting a 39.  Other OH results were not reported.

As a team, the 'Cats tallied 217 strokes in the 2nd place finish.  Stanwood recorded 211 and Arlington was 3rd with 234.

The boys schedule shows they were at South Whidbey on Thursday the 23rd, along with Glacier Peak, but no OH results were reported, only SW and GP.

Monday the boys travel to Arlington for a Wesco meet then Thursday at Everett.

The JV boys didn't play last week, but have a match at Snohomish on 4/28, at the Whidbey Golf Course on 4/29, then end the season with the JV Championships here on Whidbey Island on 5/4.

The girls were at Monroe on April 21, scoring 260 to finish 2nd to Glacier Peak.  Meadowdale scored 268 and Monroe 289 to finish the scoring.  No individual results were reported.

At home on the 23rd in a dual match against Arlington, the varsity girls won comfortably, winning 264-280.  Over the 9 hole course, Marisa Sligh was Medalist with a 45.  Hailey Beecher shot a 50, Rosie Mooki 51, Terra Baird 54 and Grace Corsmo 66.

The varsity girls travel to Marysville on the 30th for a dual match, then return home on 5/5 for a dual against Stanwood and a 4-team match on 5/7.

The JV squad was at Glacier Peak on April 21st, but no scores were posted.  They host a match at the Whidbey Golf Course on 4/29, then travel to Marysville on 5/6 for the JV Championships.
