Middle School Track 2015-04-22 at Anacortes

The combined Oak Harbor and North Whidbey Middle School track team, Wildcat United, opened their season last Wednesday with a meet at Anacortes High School and came away with a number of victories.

7th grade girls winners:

Jazmine Szot - Hurdles (19.53)
Alexis Hughes - 200m dash (30.26)
Mikhaela Cortes - 400m dash 1:14.23)
Jenny Danielson - 1600m run (6:14)
4x100m relay team (members not listed) - 59.13

The 7th grade boys didn't to quite as well, picking up the following wins:

Payton Horn - Shot Put (26-9.5)and Discus (60-0)
Tyrell Torres - Javelin (84-8)
2x200m relay - 2:04.06

8th grade girls winners:

Brenna Rothman - 400m (1:13.88

Finally, the 8th grade boys:

Nathan Merrill - Javelin (115-7)
Michael Fisken - Discus (121-6)
4x200m relay - 2:06.12

The middle schools have a home meet this coming Wednesday, April 29th, at Wildcat Memorial Stadium.  Admission is always free.
