Middle School BB - OHMS @ NWMS, 1-20-09

The OHMS and NWMS boys basketball teams met for the 4th and final time for the season at NWMS Tuesday afternoon.


The NWMS 7th grade team continued to struggle, losing by a lopsided score to a superior OHMS team. However, the NWMS team has improved greatly, and for most of the 1st half was in the game. In the 2nd half, OHMS turned on the jets and ran away with the game.


Coming into this 4th meeting, the teams' records against each other was 2-1 in favor of NWMS. OHMS Coach Marshall's goal was to even the series, and his team was successful. It was a fairly close game, but in the end, the Panters were able to post an 11-point win over their crosstown rivals.
